Below some real-life illustrations to bring us back to reality and be responsible for our own choices, so we manage our expectations efficaciously:

3. Relations fall apart after many years. Marriages on the rock since partners are not supportive and understanding enough of each other’s good intent (unfortunately, from their perspective only), business partners withdraw and left for next better advancement, friends drifted apart, etc.

In any relationships, when we are in Joy and happy about the party, we tend to overlook or oblivious of others’ weakness right from the very beginning, how we can complement each other with our strength when needed. At most times, mindset and perspective set apart all.

3I. There will come a time when new friends and working partners surfaced in tandem with our growth. To move alongside, remember to upgrade together EMPS-ly.

3II. In all marriages, as her man, did you manage her expectation by giving her more sense of assurance and security other than monetary support? Did you pat her on her shoulder and shout aloud “You did a fabulous job! Without you, this wouldn’t be possible. You are one of my best choices I ever made in my life!”

As his wife, are you supportive and understanding enough of his failure, setback or difficulty?

3IIb. Stand by him wholeheartedly when he needs to restart his career all over again or did you feel ashamed deep within one corner of your heart?

3IIc. Did you instil or have absolute faith in him? Assuring him that everything will be fine?

3IId. Did you let your man feel his absolute worth in the family other than bringing bread and butter home?

3IIe. Did you not remember to let your capabilities at work or cooking skills stay where they are or flaunt that state of mind unconsciously, dictate everything with the most SAY, enjoy holding the fort, ensure all members feel your presence and make your man feel small and worthless in the family?

Marriages fail because men do not feel their worth back at home anymore. Wife being the YIN energy in a family should observe this very rule. Unfortunately, the cruel fact is that YIN energy makes or break the family, not him, the YANG energy!

Yang energy front the more important state of affairs in the family and YIN energy ought to humbly learn supplement or support it. Unfortunately, most YIN energy tries to prove their strength and power too quickly like Disney MULAN. When such energy is present and too focused back at HOME than out on a battlefield, it simply throws everything off balance in the family, day by day and marriages rock.

I personally adore #disneymulan energies! It is awesome when “exercised” in the right place and would bring a lot to so much greater heights!
